Dr. John Bennett's Family Trolling Charter Fishing Trip in Gulf Shores

Dr. Bennetts family fishing charter in Gulf Shores, AlabamaDr. Bennett booked this King Mackerel fishing charter today in Gulf Shores because he wanted his son to catch some nice fish.   We decided to go on today's fishing charter in the afternoon.     The fish bite just as well in the afternoon as they do in the morning.  Dr. Bennett was with his son John Jr., his father, Brother Don and his father-in-law, Terry.  All were down from the Tuscaloosa and Northport, Alabama.   One of them (Pastor Don) was a big Alabama Fan.  Roll Tide.

We headed out Perdido Pass shortly after 1:30 pm today and made an immediate left turn and headed east.  The tide was coming inPastor Don and grandson, John Jr with King Mackerel and we had seen some activity on the surface of the water.

Trolling on an incoming tide around Alabama point in Orange Beach can be quite rewarding.  We caught some nice King Mackerel while pulling the dusters trailed with some cigar minnows.

John Jr's King MackerelThe west wind was blowing pretty good this afternoon but the seas were only about 1 foot.  We headed further offshore and we got into a good school of King Mackerel.   We had two on at time and that was fun and exciting.

Our video camera was rolling the wholeTerry and Dr. John's King Mackerel Charter fishing in Gulf Shores time and captured the fish and all of the action on a DVD.  It was a lot of fun watching everyone fight some fish.
