Fall Fishing Charters Gulf Shores Alabama

There is nothing more fun than getting away from work for a weekend with some friends and sharing a Fall fishing charter in Gulf Shores.   Gary and the guys are annual guests and have been using our services for years.   We usually schedule a full day charter for the guys but this year, the weather did not cooperate.

Because of the North wind and the approaching cold front from the West, we decided to stay close to shore and troll for Bull Redfish.   We left Orange Beach and headed down the beach.  We were looking for diving Seagulls and Pelicans diving for bait fish.  That is a pretty good indication that there were Redfish underneath.   To our surprise, we did not find any birds for almost two hours.   When we trolled our baits through the water where the diving birds were, there was no bite.

As with any type of fishing, we kept working our way down past the public beach in Gulf Shores, Alabama.   We finally saw another group of birds and this time we got a nice hook up.  We then had three on at one time.  They were all Jack Crevalles that weighed about 30 pounds each.   After that exhausting fight, we finally came across some Redfish that gave us some nice fish to eat.

November is shaping up to be real good.   The Redfish are abundant and they are just about ready to school up so we can catch them on top water baits.
